The
well-attended informational meeting held March 12, 2009 spawned a
Petition to be presented to our state senator and representative asking
them to sponsor a bill to (a) prohibit the government from requiring
unwilling landowners to give conservation easements; and (b) extend the
deadlines under Chapter 103B for local government units to adopt water
management plans and ordinances.
